Keepers of the Home KJV

Let me start by saying we are women who are to serve the Lord and be a keeper of the home. I spent alot of time thinking about what I could do out of the home instead of what I can do in the home. I had a lack of contentment. Many women work outside the home and feel like they are to do what their husband does. But no, God gave us different roles. While being a homemaker I have to find out where to push into. What is really me, who God created me to be. I'm not a busybody, nor a person who has many friends, nor am I materialistic person. So I am a good cook, I love spending time with the kids even though they take alot of patience, I love to clean and also read. I enjoy the simplest things I can do at home. Before I came to Christ, I didnt know who I  was, I was just a follower of the world, doing what others do. And tried to have many friends, try to fit in with everyone for acceptance, and I only felt happy if I saw myself doing what they do. Careers, and so on. God said do not be of the world. All old things have passed away. Lets just follow the women in the bible, this means do what they did, they may have sewed, planted gardens, and used that for a means of extra cash, but only to help the husband. Our mission is to help him. God created us to be helpers, not the provider. Wash his clothes, fix his food, support, encourage, minister in the conduct of our ways.
